About

Howdy! My name is Julia and I am currently studying part time for occupational therapy. Enthusiastic and bubbly personality. I have been working as a support worker including ABA therapy with level 3 autistic children since September 2024 (>1 year). I have a particular interest in ABA. I have been working as an ABA therapist since September 2024 in which I was internally trained provided by the family I have been working with with a focus on tabletop activities and have since picked up another ABA client November 2025 with a focus on promoting positive behaviours. I have informally been doing the duties of a support worker for free in my interpersonal relationships (family and friends) for more than 3 years, including massages and life skills, I am often described to have an enthusiastic and bubbly personality whose positivity is "simply infectious". I am a very empathetic, understanding and patient person. I am BIG on the importance of communication and autonomy and am passionate about all things health. Some other hobbies I have are basketball and playing video games with my partner. I graduated high school in 2022, with an ATAR of 92.85 and would be suited with helping in academic pursuits. My previous work experience involves working in call centre at the ATO, where I consistently received positive feedback for my bubbly nature, patience and empathy with client - those of which called up often upset and exhibited 'difficult' behaviour. I used to be a contractor for DataAnnotation.tech which involved high attention to detail and literacy skills providing thorough feedback on AI models.
