About
I have been working as support worker for a year - previously in Narromine, western NSW, where I grew up and since moving to Sydney in January, I have clients through Mabelcare. I have an ABN etc so happy to contract. My mother works for lifeline so I have a lifeline of learning how to communicate and be compassionate. I do enjoy listening to people and always try to validate their experiences. She would say, they are an expert in their own lives - and that works perfectly in support work. I love empowering people and walking beside them as they do what they love - or supporting them to live life the way they want to. I am very handy, as I worked as a labourer and on a farm for years, so jobs around the home for people would suit too. I am very fit, tall, strong so can accompany any clients to the gym or fitness program buddy. ^& ^&I love fitness and health. Walking along one of our great beaches or parks, so many options. I can buddy with them as they reach their own fitness goals. Or just stroll at whatever their ability allows them.^&
