I am motivated to become a Social Carer because I enjoy supporting individuals at times when they may be finding life a bit of a challenge, helping them to feel safe and heard and valued. I believe I'll be good at this role because I'm empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure, with experience providing person-centred support and strong communication skills. I am passionate about supporting others, learning about mental health and wellbeing, and making a positive difference to people's lives. Key skills that I bring to the role are communication, empathy, organisation, and remaining calm in challenging situations. Outside of work, I enjoy time for self-care, reading, and further learning through my studies in social work. I am reliable, reflective, and open to learning with a high regard for professionalism and boundaries. I can work independently and within a team, and I am committed to respectful and person-centred support while continuing to develop my skills through study and experience.
