My journey in healthcare has always been driven by a deep passion for improving lives and addressing individual needs holistically. As a graduate doctor of medicine and a student of Global Health and Infectious Diseases, I’ve gained a profound understanding of the importance of providing compassionate, person-centered care. Transitioning into social care allows me to focus on the human element of healthcare, supporting individuals’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. Witnessing the positive impact of care on patients’ lives during my clinical practice has inspired me to extend that support beyond the hospital setting into more personalized environments where I can make a meaningful difference. I am deeply passionate about health and well-being, which extends beyond my professional life into my hobbies. I enjoy playing badminton, a sport that keeps me active and sharpens my focus and teamwork skills. Previously, I was part of a choir, where I developed a love for music and an appreciation for collaboration and harmony. In my downtime, I find joy in exploring different cultures through cooking, as it allows me to combine creativity with mindfulness. My skills in adaptability, communication, and problem-solving, honed through both my career and personal pursuits, reflect my dedication to continuous growth and connection with others. As a dedicated student leader, I actively contribute to my community through various roles. I am currently a member of the Postgraduate Committee at UNSW, where I advocate for student needs and foster engagement. Additionally, I serve as Secretary for the ASOC Club UNSW, enhancing my organizational and teamwork skills. I work also as a casual Junior Office Assistant at the UNSW Faculty of Medicine and Health, I support administrative operations with precision and professionalism. These experiences, combined with my background in healthcare and global health studies, reflect my commitment to leadership, collaboration, and making a positive impact in every endeavor.
