About

My name is Sherryl Llanto, 41 years old and married. I was blessed with two children. My eldest is a fourteen-year-old boy studying at Australian Christian College Year 8. My youngest is a three-year-old girl. I am from a Filipino Asian background, the same as my husband. Listening to music, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends are some of my spare moments. I enjoyed going to different places, meeting new people, trying different outdoor activities, and trying a variety of dishes from multicultural backgrounds. My nursing career started as an Assistant in Nursing in Aged care for five years. Then I studied Bachelor of Nursing here in Australia. I strongly believe I was born serving people. My passion for helping others has always been in my heart. My parents and my grandmother raised me as a family-oriented woman. I am fully devoted to the well-being and happiness of our family. I took care of my grandparents at home when I was young. That is why elderly people are dear to me. Being a registered nurse is a favorable moment for me in providing care for others, not only from a medical perspective but also with the emotional and physical condition of every individual. I am certain that I will have a great impact on any individual I will meet in the future. I am your trusted nurse who will support you like my family on my own. Currently, I am working as a Surgical nurse providing pre-operative and post-operative care. I also had almost one year of experience working with disabled participants. I will be grateful to be in the service of Like Family to promote a patient-centered care approach like a family.
