One of my greatest pleasures in life is being around people and caring for and looking after others. I have a very close family, with three grown up children who still live at home, with myself and my husband. I also have other extended family and we all love spending a lot of time with each other. I was born in beautiful Fiji, and moved to live in New Zealand with my family, when I was ten. After getting married in my twenties, I came to live in Australia, with my husband and his family, soon having our family complete with our children, the youngest of which, is my now 16 year old sone, who has a hearing impairment. Unfortunately, about eight years ago, my lovely mother-in-law, who we all lived with, got very seriously ill, needing full time care in a very short time. I was her main care taker for over three years at home, and then also going daily to spend time with her when she eventually ended in a nursing home, and unfortunately passing away. I still cherish the moments I had with her, and also I enjoyed meeting and spending time with other residents at her nursing home. That is something that I have greatly missed in the last few years, and I believe that I would be very good in such a role, as I have the patience and the caring nature to help and spend time with others. I ^& ^&I have taught other people skills in making cafe quality coffee. I also love doing Indian cooking and sharing my knowledge and skills in that too.^&
