I am a genuine and caring bloke. I like to laugh, especially at myself. I have been working with and supporting people in various settings for almost 25 years. I encourage others to do " what is best " for them. I listen well - I see myself as easy going. I offer social support. For me, social support is having a coffee and a chat, going for leisurely walks, going to the movies - and helping people attend appointments and to do their shopping.

Bernard has been most attentive to my brother whom he takes on a weekly outing for coffee, shopping etc. He always turns up and often assists Chris to get ready. When they have coffee, he is a patient listener as Chris loves to talk and tell stories. And when the outing is finished he always sends us a message so we know how it went and if there is anything we need to check on. We are very happy with Bernard and would have no hesitation in recommending him as a kind and empathetic social carer.
