I was motivated to become a Social Carer because I enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their lives. I believe everyone deserves to feel respected, supported, and valued, and I find it rewarding to provide care that helps others live with dignity and independence. I think I’ll be good at this role because I’m compassionate, patient, and a good listener. I take the time to understand individual needs and build trust with the people I support. I’m also responsible and stay calm under pressure, which helps me handle challenging situations while remaining supportive. I’m committed to providing the best care possible and helping others feel comfortable and cared for. I have a passion for cooking and enjoy spending time trying new recipes or preparing meals for my family and friends. I love social events, as they give me a chance to connect with the people I care about most. I have two wonderful older children and a lovely husband, who mean the world to me. We also have a small cavoodle, who is a big part of our family. I love taking Hazel for walks and to the beach, where we can enjoy the outdoors together. These activities bring me joy and balance, and I value the time I spend with my loved ones and pet. I have experience caring for the elderly, as I cared for both my mother and my late father. This taught me a lot about patience, empathy, and the importance of giving care that’s tailored to each person’s needs. I also do volunteer work at the nursing home where my mother now lives, which has helped me learn more about working with older people in a professional setting. These experiences have made me passionate about helping others and making a difference in their lives. I enjoy building connections and providing care that helps people feel valued and supported.
