I’ve been caring for my 80yr old grandmother for the past few years, which has made me appreciate the need to support someone in their daily living activities. I took pleasure in shopping, exercising, and doing everything that was needed to assist her. Also, I am a mother of two so I have a lot of patience, empathy, and the ability to multitask. I believe all these experiences have made me kind, dependable, and someone who finds joy in helping others and ensuring they are comfortable and taken care of. I really enjoy anything that lets me connect with people. I speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and I know a little bit of Japanese too—which has been handy when chatting with people from different backgrounds. I’m pretty comfortable with technology and like staying organised, especially when it comes to planning or keeping a routine. In my free time, I’m into photography, browsing for bargains and top sales (shopping is kind of my happy place!), and staying active. I believe eating well and exercising regularly is the key to feeling young. These are all things I love sharing with others, and I’m always up for learning something new or working together as part of a team. I’m a warm, approachable person who takes pride in being reliable and respectful. I might be new to the industry, but I’ve seen how important it is for people in need to feel supported and heard. I’m a quick learner, and I’m really looking forward to growing in this role and making a positive difference in someone’s life.
