About

I’m caring and compassionate, I find helping people rewarding. I have an easy going fun loving personality. I previously worked in the role HR & Administration Coordinator for an NDIS registered provider. During my time in that role I occasionally provided support to participants at the company’s Social Hub as well as in the community and in a SIL environment due to not having Support Worker staff available, I stepped in to ensure participants were provided with support. I thoroughly enjoyed my time supporting participants I built very rewarding relationships while supported and helping participants to achieve their goals. I would like the opportunity to do so again. Cooking - I would ask the person what types of food they like? I would mention some of my favourite foods. Ask what’s their favourite restaurant? Mention some of the dishes I’m good at making. Ask if they have any favourite cookbooks. If there are cooking facilities available I would ask them if they would like to try cooking something new? Give some options, let the person decide what they would like to cook. Help the person to write a shopping list. Take them to the shops and help them to get all the items on the list. Come back help them prepare the ingredients then help them to cook the meal. If no cooking facilities available, I would ask if they would like to go to a restaurant. Or we could watch a cooking program on tv
