Hi, my name is Zarmina, Tell us why you would make a great Hero. I believe I would make a great hero as I am a friendly, reliable and a hardworking person. It brings me joy to help others and put a smile on someone’s face simply by helping to improve their quality of life. In the past I have worked with people who were physically challenged and I have also worked in an aged care facility where I was able to obtain skills and an understanding of how to care and empathise with others. I am also a mother of 6 so I’ve been undergoing full time training for the past 32 years (the age of my eldest son) and also believe that a mother is a full time hero. I bring my skills from both the professional industry and from my motherhood and hope to help someone else in need. Tell us how you will share one of your skills or hobbies to help someone in our community. I can assist and help those in the Home Care Hero community as I have experience as a nurse and as a care giver for the physically challenged and elderly. In my previous profession, as part of a team I was required to make living standards comfortable for our patients by helping to maintain their living quarters, provide them with food and refreshments and even something as simple as providing them with company and somebody to speak with. These skills along with my parenting skills will help to improve someone’s wellbeing, living standards and quality of life.
