I became a disability support worker because I enjoy meeting and working alongside people of all different ages, backgrounds and abilities. I enjoy helping people participate in the community and achieve their goals. For the last three years I’ve worked in the community and at schools, supporting people with their social and daily living skills goals. I have honed my interpersonal skills through interacting positively with clients, other services, and coworkers while also maintaining safe and professional standards. My strengths include my punctuality, people skills, and positive attitude. I genuinely enjoy helping others participate in activities, and I always keep my client’s best interests at the centre of what I do. My interests: I’m interested in cycling, tennis, films, and indoor rock climbing. I also love sports and being outside.
