About
Hi, my name is Jessie, I am an extremely passionate, patient and dedicated person. I am going into my fourth year of my social work degree at university, which has allowed me to acquire the knowledge, skills and compassion for working with communities that are marginalised in society. I feel empowered to make a change in someone's life in ways big or small. During my time at university and on work placements, I have first-hand experience in working within the mental health field and the obstacles that can arise. On a personal level, I consider myself to be a very creative person. I love music, films and art and trying new things. I also really enjoy being active, playing sport and being outdoors! In my personal life, I have quite a big family, who have filled me up with lessons of understanding and the power of a conversation. I love getting to know new people, what their goals are and how we can work together to achieve them. I hope that I can apply these meaningful qualities to develop strong and trusting relationships with others. Ultimately, I believe I am a very flexible and versatile person who can adapt to all different kinds of personalities or environments!
