I want to make a difference in peoples lives who could use a little assistance. Friendship and community are incredibly important to me and I know the value of this first hand. I love to relate with people on all levels and am always curious to learn where possible. I love getting to know people! I have a lot of relevant life experienced. I have faced several challenges in my life and having sought help myself has given me a huge appreciation of the social work sector and its benefits. I have many interests and personal traits which I feel will help me connect and understand the people I care for. I always strive to be empathetic and understanding, no matter the situation. Communication is key, and I love to listen. I am also kind, enthusiastic and very caring in nature. I love to try new things and experiences, and hope to share this with you also. My interests are listed below, however those I am most excited about would be art, culture and being active. With art in particular, I love painting, drawing and attending galleries. Experimenting with and creating art can be very therapeutic and a great way to express ones self. I want to help people to feel empowered, access help, and live healthy, happy lives. I really look forward to meeting some of you soon :)
