About

I've always wanted to assist people, particularly those from comparable situations. Several events triggered my interest in social work. 9 years of my life working in the healthcare sector has made me develop a sense of selfless service and I would like to think that I made a difference in the life of my patients by providing them with the care they need. Therefore, I prioritize my patients' satisfaction and put their interest above mine. I thrive offering them quality service and regularly request their feedback to improve my approach to work. Social work is something that gives me happiness and a kind of satisfaction. The importance of charity has been mentioned in our daily life, but there are very few who follow. Social work or charity is something that should be done by heart and only by those who really want to help others. All of us should spare some time in helping the society and I believe in giving back therefore I have pushed myself to become a Social Carer. Renowned American physicist Robert Noyce once said: "Knowledge is power. Knowledge shared is power multiplied. " Over the years, I have also found that sharing skills and hobbies brings joy, unlike any other act. For example, giving to a charity helps people for a short while. In stark contrast, sharing skills with someone can genuinely make a difference in their lives. I have attended multiple volunteer workshops and helped spread positivity among the least privileged, which gave me immense joy and happiness. I also run occasional free online tutoring for Mandarin classes in my community (Drummoyne) for young kids willing to learn a new language. This not only empowers my service to others but also creates a bond within our small community.
