About

I wanted to become a Social Carer because this is the job posting that made me actually feel the need to apply. And the way I want to approach this work, is to support others the way I have been supported by my loved ones and community . I am currently in university for an accredited degree in Psychology. Every day I strive to have the drive and empathy to follow the life path that I have chosen and wish to gain the experience needed to do just that. I consider myself a very adaptable person and have indulged in a variety of hobbies and interests over the years, it's innumerable truly. But currently I really enjoy Reading, Watching Formula 1, and Colouring. I consider myself rather good at Creative Writing and Crafts, and rather terrible at Crochet it is something I am trying to pick up. Even though I can be talkative and cheerful, I truly appreciate the quiet and serious moments that come with being in companionship with a person. I have to mention I am an only child with two extremely busy parents and spent a large amount time in the care of my grandparents. The simple act of being in each other's presence and performing the day to day tasks meant the world to us. And even now my grandmother and I would say one of our favourite memories was her picking me up from the bus stop and walking side-by-side in comfortable silence.
