About

Hi! My name is Georgie and I am a keen and compassionate 20 year old who has been working in care for 3 years. I am currently studying at USYD and am looking for casual work about 4-8 hours a week. I have been living in the UK for the last two years in a nursing home caring for people with a range of needs such as Dementia, Parkinson's, Chronic pain, mental health issues and disabilities. I am a confident and outgoing person but I also understand the importance of confidentiality and responsibility. I have been awarded many certificates for my dedication to care as well as my positive, 'can do' attitude. I believe that this position is well suited for me and I would love the opportunity to work with anyone who requires assistance, regardless of what it is :) I have always been passionate about caring for others, especially the elderly and those with disabilities. It’s deeply rewarding to support and improve their quality of life and is something I find fulfilling. I enjoy staying active through walking and yoga, which helps me maintain energy and focus on my studies. In my downtime, I love reading, cooking healthy meals, and working on puzzles. I enjoy almost all things and always have an open mind when it comes to trying new things.
