I have recently completed a Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Human Sciences. During this time, I began working with autistic children doing one-to-one support work in a camp setting. This experience has sparked an interest in becoming a social carer. I have lived experience with neurodivergent individuals and believe I would be good at encouraging individuals to reach their full potential, while assisting them with any tasks they require. I am patient and forward-thinking, which would allow me to excel in a social carer role. I am passionate about mental health care, companionate care for neurodiverse individuals, and allowing people to enjoy life as much as possible. I have experience working with autistic and ADHD children as well as multiple years' experience working in person-centred roles, giving me patience, understanding and flexibility. I work well in fast paced environments as well as catering to the individual needs of diverse people. These skills allow me to adapt and thrive in many environments. My hobbies include cooking, swimming, pilates, reading, and being around nature.
