About
I have qualifications in Financial and health counselling. I love working with children, teenagers and adults to help empower them to live their best lives. I have two teenage children and am a foster carer. I have always loved meeting and working with people of all different ages and backgrounds so we can learn off each other and have a little fun at the same time. I am compassionate, empathetic, non judgemental and genuinely wanting to support everyone I can to enjoy their lives and grow as individuals. I believe it is important to also see, hear and support families as life is a team effort! My passion lies in assisting to become financially independent, learning the best ways to save money, spend money, manage money etc. Money management is something generally not taught effectively in schools yet it affects our every day lives both physically and emotionally. Setting yourself and your family up for financial success is essential to fulfilling wants and needs and you are never too young or too old to empower yourself in this regards. In my home life, I am a single Mum with two independent teenagers and two very cheeky dogs - a golden retriever and a labrador. I am very family orientated, love walking, love the bush the water and love having hot chocolates with family and friends. I am able to assist with most tasks including but not limited to - financial literacy - budgeting - assistance with getting first job - understanding payslips, superannuation, tax etc - setting up bank accounts, savings, managing debts and bills and spending - assisting with learning the best ways to shop at supermarkets - personal shopping and budgeting - assistance in understanding about credit cards, by now pay later, savings, personal loans etc - mentoring - transport - anything else just ask me!!
