About
I've always been motivated to become a social carer because of my past experience in Nursing and Support work, which made me realise how much i love helping people and that I’ve always had a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I find great fulfilment in supporting others, especially during challenging times. My experiences Whether through Nursing, Support work or personal interactions, have shown me the importance of compassion and understanding in fostering well-being. I believe I will be good at this role because of my past experience's and the people i have assisted, as i will be able to handle any situation that comes my way appropriately, i am a good listener as well as possess strong communicational skills and a genuine empathy for others. I’m patient and adaptable, which helps me connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I’m dedicated to continuous learning and improving my skills, which I think is essential in providing the best support possible. I am passionate about empowering individuals, engaging with the community, and advocating for vulnerable populations. My skills include active listening, creative problem-solving, and crisis management, which help me provide effective support. In my spare time, I enjoy doing all sorts of volunteer work which has helped me in many way's such as gaining more life experiences and stepping out of my comfort zone, i also enjoy exploring creative arts for self-expression, and reading about social issues and personal development to enhance my knowledge and skills. These elements all contribute to my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. A little bit about me, i was born and raised in Melbourne Vic, moved to Syd about 6 and a half years ago, i can fluently speak read and write both English and Arabic, i graduated year 12 here, then studied a bachelor of social work for a bit and ended up doing Nursing as well as Support work, I like to put myself out there and try new/different things, i'm very outgoing and adventurous i like being creative i also like to have fun and make other people happy. I’d like to emphasise my adaptability and resilience, developed through diverse experiences working with various people. This background has enhanced my cultural sensitivity and understanding of different perspectives. I thrive in collaborative environments, believing that teamwork improves the support we provide. My commitment to empathy and kindness helps create a safe, trusting atmosphere for clients, making me well-suited for a role in social care.
