I chose to work in social care because I genuinely value making people feel comfortable, respected, and supported in their everyday life. For me, care is not just about completing tasks, it’s about creating a calm, safe environment where someone feels seen, heard, and at ease. I am passionate about helping others and creating a positive and organised environment. I enjoy bringing a sense of calm and comfort into people’s daily routines. My experience includes personal care, assistance with daily living, meal preparation, light household tasks, companionship, and support with community access such as appointments or outings. I am adaptable, attentive, and respectful of each individual’s needs. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, staying active, cooking, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy simple activities like walking, watching movies, and having meaningful conversations. I am originally from Colombia and currently based in Sydney.
