From a young age I learnt to adapt as my sister was born with asd and Turner’s syndrome. Having her as my older sister truly helped me to develope a calming nature which in turn allowed me to listen and try help with her problems. 2 years ago I got into disability support work and have loved it ever since. Over those years I’ve had roughly 10 participants where I’ve become close to the whole family. Just being able to help the participant and the family is really something I love doing and the bond that’s formed from it is genuinely a great benefit.^& ^&A hobby of mine is skating, by taking out participants to a park I’ve introduced them to the idea of skating and every single one that I’ve taken out has gone and bought themselves a skateboard of which we now are able to both enjoy this recreational activity^&
