About
I am a dedicated, caring and highly motivated individual with experience in mental health nursing, aged care and disability services. I throughly enjoy taking on new challenges in a new environment, to provide the highest quality person-centered care. I have experience working closely with adults, children and elderly people who have a range of different physical, social, psychological and emotional needs. My motivation to becoming a social carer comes from having a passion to help and support others and make a positive difference in someone’s life. As a mental health nurse and a carer, I have always found great joy in providing care and companionship to those who need it, and strive to make people feel supported and comfortable in my care. Seeing the difference I can make in someone’s day-to-day life, ensuring they feel valued, listened to, independent and confident, reinforces my passion to care for others.
