About
Hi, My name is Peter and I live in Blaxland in the Blue Mountains. My family and I love to travel and we have visited some beautiful and exciting places, both locally and overseas. Living in the Mountains, I enjoy bush walking and bike riding. I love sport, particulary Golf and Cricket which I play and I also enjoy watching Rugby League and going to games especially State of Origin. I enjoy training and keeping fit. I have a real passion for fishing and animals in general. I currently have a Parrot and Bearded Dragon as pets. I enjoy spending time with and meeting new people and if I am able to give them a few extra smiles and laughs along the way, then thats reward in itself. I know how important it is to have companionship and friendship in our lives. I am a good listener and always happy to help others and give advice when asked. I have driven taxis for the last 3 years and gained great satisfaction from assisting Veterans, DVA customers and others in their daily lives. I've been very fortunate to meet some real 'characters' who make me laugh and always have stories of their experiences which they love to share. What makes me so respectful of these wonderful people I have met, is that they all have an appreciation for the small things in life. Prior to driving, I worked in corporate sales & management and I have picked up valuable skills in customer service and lifestyle planning. I have mentored and helped staff learn new tasks and I believe this experience would be very beneficial as a Carer. I'm always happy to share my skills and interests so others can learn and enjoy. Similarly, Im keen to experience your passions and interests and have heaps of fun along the way. In terms of my availability, this has changed slightly. I am currently available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays both am and pm. Also, I have recently posted my own activity called "Lets Go Fishing". I am looking to do this on Wednesdays, so if you have any questions or are interested, please reach out to me. The day and timing is flexible. If you like fishing and just havnt had a chance to do or would like to try for the first time, just let me know. I look forward to meeting you. Peter
