About

I was born and raised in a large family of 19 members. Growing up, I learned household chores and cooking by watching the women in my family. Like any family, ours had its share of challenges, some small, others more deeply affecting our physical and mental well-being. Witnessing and learning from these experiences, I’ve come to believe that sometimes what a person truly needs is the warmth and care of a loving presence. That presence doesn’t always have to come from family, it can be a friend or a stranger. Someone who shows up when it matters, who’s happy to go on a walk or shopping with you, cook a meal together, or play a game to lift your spirits. If I can be that kind of friend, someone others can rely on while also practicing the life skills I’ve gained then I’d feel truly fulfilled. I love being in the water , going on hikes, and taking bush walks. During lockdown, I saw how many people struggled to clear their minds and I truly believe that some form of physical activity can make a big difference. Whether it's walking, exploring nature, or any movement that helps people feel better in their bodies and cope with the situation, I see it as an important form of self-care. This is a hobby I’d love to share with those I care about. I also enjoy cooking and exploring healthy food alternatives. I find it rewarding to understand individual nutritional needs and create recipes that suit them. Lastly, I value being mindful about managing waste and finding sustainable ways of doing everyday things.
