About

I've always been motivated by a deep sense of empathy and the desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. As a social carer, I believe I can offer emotional support and practical assistance to people who need it most. I find it fulfilling to help others maintain their dignity and independence, while also providing the care and comfort they need. I think I’ll be good at this role because I’m a great listener, patient, and I have a strong sense of responsibility. I also have a natural ability to connect with people and understand their needs, which I believe is essential in this line of work. I'm passionate about adventure, crafts, acting, fitness, and having fun. These hobbies have helped me develop important skills for social care. Adventure has taught me adaptability and positivity, while crafting has boosted my creativity and patience. Acting has improved my communication and empathy, and fitness has instilled discipline and a focus on health. I enjoy bringing joy to others, and I believe these passions will help me provide compassionate, engaging care. i am currently studying a bachelor of social sciences (social work) at ACU and work as a recreational activity officer/support worker for Thompson Health Care.
