My name is Paulina and I am highly motivated individual with over five years of professional experience in social work on an international level. I have extensive experience in working with children, youth and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. My career has involved working in many different social contexts, which I believe has deepened my perspective on society. I have realised the importance of people-centred development, where the community, family or individual is a crucial part in determining what they value and aspire to. I describe myself as an ethical and confidential person with people I have worked with, respecting their autonomy but at the same time taking the necessary steps and duty of care regarding my profession and role. I believe working as a social carer I can bring my experience, motivations, ideas, and cultural background. I aim to improve lives and social experiences wherever I work, particularly for people in most need. Finally I have some hobbies and skills, which I will be able to share with my participants, as my passion for knitting, healthy food preparation, meditation techniques, gardening, and organic skin care formulation.
