About
I really enjoy working with people of all ages in a caring role. I have worked in the residential caring sector for over 21 years in boarding schools both in the U.K. and Australia and also have personal experience with a number of conditions such as diabetes, eating disorders, various mental health conditions and intellectual disabilities. I have qualifications in Health and Social Care, Mental Health and various Boarding and residential care management areas. I was born in the U.K. and have lived between England and Australia throughout my adult life. I have had people there to support me when I’ve needed it most and recognise how important and meaningful this is to offer to others in their times of need. I believe it is so important that each person is treated as an individual and I make it paramount in my connections that each person feels valued for who they are. I would love to share my interests with any member of the community who is interested but more importantly to learn about their interest's and passions. I enjoy natural therapies, meditation, travel and the outdoors and would enjoy sharing these by taking clients out to classes in these areas or interests of their own. I would also like to take people out for walks or to be outside by the beach or in local area, wherever they would feel most comfortable.
