Hi! My name is Ellie. I’m 26 and located in Craigieburn. I have my own car which I use for transport services for clients. I have a wide range of skills & experience that strengthen my role as a disability and mental health support worker. Since June of 2022 I have worked for and still employed with many companies including Lifestyle Centred Services, Mable, Hireup and Extended Families. I have supported clients ranging from young children to young adults and elderly with many different needs and disabilities. I am a naturally calm and empathetic person as I was raised in a chaotic environment I am very competent to adapting to unexpected circumstances. I personally have a lot of life experience as there are many people in my family with disabilities whom I also provide care for. I have supported clients to build morning routines, and assist with personal care goals and community access goals. Most recently, I worked with non verbal young adults and this allowed me to gain skills with communication devices. I am very fun and loving, I really love to listen to my clients and ensure they feel comfortable and supported, and that their voices are heard. I have a very flexible availability. I currently study a bachelor of social work and have a huge passion for psychology which also contributes to my skills and experience. I have completed subjects relating to trauma therapy and many illnesses which have given me a lot of knowledge that I use to support clients. I believe this really advantages my ability to support anyone. I have my valid working with children’s check, general First Aid & CPR and mental health first aid qualifications. I look forward to connecting :)
