About
Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m a 28 year old independent support worker based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs (areas surrounding Craigieburn, Mernda, South Morang, Doreen, Wollert, Bundoora, Mill Park, Epping and more). I have a full license and my own vehicle, so I’m able to travel reliably to meet clients where they are. I’ve been working in the disability support sector since June 2022, and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work online (graduating 2026). I’m passionate about providing meaningful, person-centred care and empowering people from all walks of life to live with greater independence, confidence, and wellbeing. I have both personal and professional experience working with clients of all ages (including children, young adults, and older adults) across a variety of needs. I have supported individuals with a range of needs surrounding Autism Spectrum Disorder, High Functioning Autism, PDA, Non-verbal communication, Acquired Brain Injuries, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Hyperacusis, Anxiety Disorders, Depression and more. My support style is warm, patient, and understanding. I draw from lived experience and aim to create a safe, empowering space for everyone I work with. I also have a flexible schedule and am happy to work around your preferred days and times. In my spare time, I love writing, and being in nature - often with my dogs who bring me endless joy!
