About

I love interacting with people. I have had experience in taking care of Schizophrenia and Celebral Palsy patients. I was born in Kenya and I became friends with a colleague who is a parent to a five-year old child, who developed celebral palsy in early infancy. I got to learn about this condition from her and because of my ability to understand and share my feelings with others, I used to help her take care of the child from time to time and also accompany her in events organized for people taking care or living with this condition. I also have a close cousin who was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and I have been present for him throughout the experience. Although we lived in different towns, I used to visit him when I got leave days from work and often had a chat on phone. I made sure that I listened to his needs, assured him that we will work to find effective solutions and walked with him each step of the way. I believe that I have a high intuition for the needs of the people and I work to secure a better life for every individual that I interact with in life. ^& ^&One of my hobbies is doing outdoor activities. From something as simple as taking a walk in the park to lying by the beach especially when the weather is nice, outdoor activities are known to have a positive effect on one's health, both physically and mentally. By doing such outdoor activities with someone in the community, it will help them relax their minds and at the same time give them a companion in their day-to-day lives. ^&
