About
After a 25 year career in pharmacy, I’m looking to build meaningful bonds and connections through support work. My Welsh accent and dry sense of humour indicate my heritage (even if most Australians think I’m Irish…), but I have built an amazing life in Australia since arriving in 2008. I learned how to do cryptic crosswords in 2020. Since then I have taught my sister, Dad and Uncle on recent visits to UK. we now share crosswords on What’s App. Being in business from 2011 to 2022 taught me good money management skills. Real estate also interests me and I recently helped a friend buy her first investment property. Not financially, but helped her through the whole process. Having faced mental and physical challenges in my life, I appreciate how good support can make a world of difference. I’m looking forward to building a rewarding career in the support sector. I’m passionate about helping people make the best of themselves with my mantra: Progress is Perfection.
