About
I enjoy making a difference in people's lives by helping them achieve their goals, enhance their independence, and improve their overall quality of life. I have raised two boys on my own since 2013. Multitasking in the home while working and raising boys has given me stamina, resilience, organizational skills, compassion and patience. Having battled through 2 back surgeries and cancer, I have come to view the world in a different way and resonate strongly with how it feels to be isolated and in need of help and support. I would like to make a difference in another persons life, to bring some ease and hopefully a bit of happiness and laughter into their world. I enjoy cooking, home maintainence, gardening and outings and am willing to tackle any task at hand using my problem solving skills and attention to detail. Having previously run after school art classes I bring creativity and artistic opportunities for people who enjoy art. I also love good food and have taught myself some lovely recipes which I am happy to share. I have worked with people from all backgrounds and bring cultural awareness and acceptance to my daily supports.
