About
I've always loved the idea of helping others, and creating new relationships is always exciting! I enjoy listening to and sharing each other's interests, which helps me get to know the person better! I feel I'm a bright and bubbly person, whose always looking on the brighter sides of life! I really do try my best to make sure those around me are safe and happy! I have many skills which I believe are well-suited for the role of a social carer! I'm a really big people person and I'm always willing to help in any way I can to make even the smallest tasks easier and the biggest tasks less intimidating. I'm also a student at Southern Cross University, studying OT, and I would love to practice my skills, and gain some experience within this similar area of care I'm currently studying! Some of my hobbies include running and fitness! I love karate, and I'm currently at red belt level! Music always makes me feel good, and I'm constantly having a little concert in my car every chance I get! Reading is by far one of my favourite things to do, especially walking or running by the beach and sitting in the park with my book! I have the biggest passion for baking, and I always deliver to my friends and family each week!! Cooking is another skill I'm incredibly passionate about, and I like to express myself through different cuisines and trying new recipes for my family to try! I am a first-year student studying Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University! I took an integration course for Occupational Therapy in 2024 to gain a headstart in my knowledge and studies! I'm incredibly passionate about my career and future, always looking for a challenge and to support others around me. I feel I have great communication skills, and participating in frequent practicals during classes at uni has really helped me understand how to listen and communicate on a deeper level. I know in time this is something I can master, but I feel very confident in my ability to communicate and listen, so they feel heard and supported!
