About
I love the company of people and enjoy social time with friends and family. I have cared for a family member with down syndrome, taking him out on day trips kayaking and walking and have also cared for my dad during the last few years of his life when he had dementia. I have found it rewarding to be able to help and would like to spend the rest of my career giving back to the community in this way. It is rewarding to see the appreciation and joy that spending time with people provides. I love being outdoors and doing hands on activities. I would like to share my skills in carpentry or fishing or just take someone out on the water for kayaking, or swimming. I could help with DIY projects e.g. mosaics, simple home maintenance I could teach all aspects of fishing. I have a dutch background and am able to understand the dutch language in conversation.
