About

I want to become a social carer because I’ve always been passionate about helping others. Growing up in a country where many people needed support, I was raised with the belief that it’s our duty to look after one another, no matter the circumstances. In my culture, community is everything, and I’ve learned that making someone’s life better starts with showing them they are not alone. I believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, supported, and connected, and I’ve always been inspired by the idea that small acts of kindness can create meaningful change in someone’s life. I am empathetic, a good listener, and deeply understand the importance of providing help to those who need it. I also recognize how vital this support is in preventing loneliness and reducing the risk of depression. I’m confident that my values, compassion, and dedication make me well-suited for a role where I can truly make a difference in the lives of others. Some of my hobbies are gardening, walking.. a lot of walking, specially with my dogs. I also enjoy good conversations, I love listening to other's people stories and read a good book. I enjoy cooking and enjoy looking after my health as well. I do Pilates and yoga to keep my mind and body well. An interesting fact about me is that even though I studied something very different to social work and health, I have always felt a call to help people to improve their lives. I have attended many seminars related to natural health with my husband and I also got myself certified as a health and life coach in 2019. This has given me the opportunity to help more people to improve their lives. Something extra to add, is that I have always being interested in psychology since I was very young so one of my precious hobbies is to read books about the mind, human behavior, life and health. I love sharing what I learn with people that I get to know and that I feel it can benefit them some how.
