About

As an INFJ, I naturally possess a deep sense of empathy and a genuine love for humanity. I am genuinely concerned about the well-being of others and strive to understand their needs and emotions. This empathetic nature is a fundamental quality for a Social Carer, as it allows me to connect with individuals on a profound level, offering them the support and compassion they require. My curiosity is a driving force in my life, motivating me to explore the unique stories, backgrounds, and circumstances of those I interact with. This curiosity helps me gain a deeper understanding of people's lives and challenges, enabling me to tailor my care and support to their specific needs. My love of learning ensures that I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in social work, psychology, and related fields. This continuous quest for knowledge allows me to apply evidence-based practices and innovative approaches to my caregiving, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those I serve. My experience as an intern in a psychiatric ward and as a disability support worker has provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities of mental health and disability. These experiences have honed my ability to remain calm under pressure, de-escalate difficult situations, and provide meaningful assistance to individuals facing various challenges. Volunteering as a students' helper in the local community has given me the opportunity to connect with a wide range of individuals, from different backgrounds and age groups. This has strengthened my interpersonal and communication skills, allowing me to build trust and rapport with those I work with. Social Carers often encounter unpredictable situations and clients with diverse needs. My experience has taught me to be adaptable and patient in my approach, ensuring that I can respond effectively to the ever-changing demands of the role. Advocacy: I am committed to advocating for the rights and well-being of vulnerable populations. Whether it's advocating for improved mental health services or championing the inclusion of individuals with disabilities, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those I serve. ^& ^&I am enthusiastic about sharing my skills and hobbies with the community, particularly focusing on my growing illustration and design skills. One way I plan to do this is by teaching mindfulness drawing and using art as a therapeutic outlet for managing anxiety. I envision organizing a series of community workshops or classes that are accessible to a wide range of individuals. These workshops would be designed to introduce the concept of mindfulness through drawing and harnessing the power of art as a means of coping with anxiety.^&
