I have recently moved to Newcastle and am wanting to get people out enjoying this great city. The opportunity to use my life skills to help people with their day to day living is very important to me . I love to help people solve problems and achieve personal goals . I have previously worked in the hairdressing industry for 30 years . I am a great listener and can relate well to people from all walks of life . I am patient , calm ,understanding and compassionate . In my free time I enjoy being outdoors . Cycling is a big part of my life , mountain biking or cycleways , riding my bike is my happy place . Hiking or walking out near the beach , lake or forest are some of my favourite things to do . I enjoy seeing live music and getting up for a dance ! Big fan of musicals too . My go to music would be hits of the 70s and 80s and 90s . I am a very organised person and love planning holidays around the globe . My strong administrative skills would be a benefit to people who need help when filling out forms etc. Making a positive impact on people’s lives , particularly those who are faced with difficulties is an extremely rewarding career. I have recently completed a Mental health first aid course, St John’s ambulance first aid course and have a Working with children clearance current until 14/03/2030.
