Hi, my name is Sharyn, I have been working within the aged and disability sector for 6+ years now and I care for clients in Aged care facilities doing one-on-one care as well as taking them out for lunch,coffee,shopping or to various family functions such as weddings, christenings etc. I also work in the community with a client who is a quadraplegic in his home . Tell us why you would make a great Hero. I find it very rewarding and always come away learning something new, and I enjoy making a difference to someone's life. Tell us how you will share one of your skills or hobbies to help someone in our community. I would find out if there is a craft group in the local area that meets on a regular basis and ask the client if they would like to attend or perhaps ask the client's permission if they would like to host a craft morning or afternoon in their on residence.
