Hello Care Seeker. I am certified as a home & community nursing assistant as well as a disability support worker. I am very willing and happy to assist anyone in need of help. I always aim to bring a sparkle to someone else’s world and would gladly surrender my time, my schedule and my heart to help anybody in need by giving them love, empathy, acceptance and support. I am also an excellent listener, very dependable, young at heart and fun to be around. Those who know me will affirm that I am a caring, generous, kind & patient person with a good sense of humour and I also happen to adore dogs - especially toy breeds. I am mum to a very cute Toy Poodle princess named BEULAH. My leisure activities include reading (mystery/suspense/whodunnits), true-crime TV, British drama & comedy, bushwalking, bird watching, catching up with friends, spending time with my doggie, online shopping, YouTube tutorials, dining out and pampering treatments. Hobbies and interests include animals & pets, baking, crochet, knitting, listening to music, jigsaw puzzles, theatre (plays/opera/ballet/musicals), history and travel. I had a cousin with a disability, but she sadly passed away a few years ago … I love to think that I’m honouring her memory by doing what I’m doing. And in case you’ve been wondering ... I was born in South Africa, have lived in Australia for the past 27 years and proudly call myself a naturalised Aussie!
