I have just moved into the Lake Macquarie are with my husband and gorgeous dog,Barney and am looking for flexible work in social support. Although I am very new to support work I hope that you will take a chance to get to know me as I think I have a lot to offer. As a parent and a grandparent I am fully aware of the challenges families face and how just a little help can make a huge difference. I love engaging and connecting with children and adults especially when comes to learning a new skill or having the opportunity to build on interests. I love my dog, Barney and can talk dog all day I also crochet toys for children and adults that I sell at local markets. I love to go for walks and just look around. I love reading, as well as well as reading to children/young adults I love learning new things or hearing about something I might not know about yet. I can quite happily sit in silence without feeling uncomfortable.
