Most people think of social workers when they think of poverty alleviation and child welfare. Many social workers do that kind of work — and we do much more. As someone coming from an unprivileged life, I spent most of my life in the health caring sector, I want to help and relieve people's suffering, fight for social justice, and improve lives and communities. My strengths are Interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence and leadership skills that help me make rapid and effective decisions even in high pressure situations. I am happy and excited to be part of this industry - growing and embracing new learnings along the way. What I will do is to skills swap, in which I will give someone my help and then being able to get support from them in return. Along with good communication skills that are essential when sharing my skills and knowledge with others, I will explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way, and be able to adapt my communication style to suit the needs of different audiences.
