About
I would like to become a social carer because I would like to make a difference in other people's lives and also feeling a sense of purpose in my daily work. I am currently enrolled in a Social Work degree and I would like to gain training and experience in a caring role. I enjoy going out for a walk or going to the beach. I love hanging out with family and friends, going to the cinema and reading books. I have strong communication skills that includes active listening, empathy and patience. I have problem-solving and decision making skills and great organizational and time-management skills. I am currently enrolled in a Master of Social Work at Western Sydney University (2025-2027) I volunteer as a Catechist in a Public school in North Ryde and also volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I am from Peru and have been living in Australia since last year (January 2024). I have a working with children check and a National Police Check. I have a record of NSW Health required vaccines for Social Work placements. I have First Aid and CPR certificate
