About
I wanted to become a social carer because looking after my mother as her Alzheimers progressed into dementia made me believe that my attributes are well suited to this kind of work, and that I can make a positive influence in people’s lives if I pursue this as a career. Having the ability to work on a casual basis will also enable me to spend more time with my Mum, compared to what I currently can working full time as a Project Manager for a Construction Company. My main passions are sports and nature. I like to watch and play various sports and I like to walk in nature. I enjoy gardening, removing weeds and planting trees in areas that have been degraded. I am also happy sitting and talking with family and friends.
