G'day my name is Aadil, Since moving to Australia, nearly 20 years ago, I have always involved myself in giving back to this community which has given me so much. I hold a Grad Certificate in Aged Care Services (University of Tasmania) and have completed various Dementia-related courses (The Wicking Centre at Uni Tas). I have experience in working with clients experiencing or having the following conditions: • Dementia, autism, depression, isolation, physical disabilities Activities I support include: • Social and companionship support • Participation in community events and activities such as shopping, sports, markets, local library etc • Skills development - technology, communication, writing, resume writing etc. I have also supported the Broadband for Seniors Program run by Randwick Council to help seniors develop their technology skills and become more comfortable in using the internet, various apps, smartphones and laptop computers. Friends and family would say that I am highly organised, conscientious, diligent and have a can-do/positive attitude in life. I live in Maroubra and happy to support clients in Sydney's Eastern suburbs, Inner-West, South, South-West and Lower North Shore. Happy to consider other areas depending on need and my availability. I have a full Australian driving license, a police clearance and working with children check. I drive a SUV so can accommodate wheel-chairs and other mobility-aids, if required.
