About
I want to become a social worker as I love people, and I love helping people through tough times and to be the best they can be. I am a very compassionate, tolerant, and calm person; due to this I have often found myself supporting and mentoring my peers throughout my life. I am an active and optimistic person, and I can join in the upbeat joy of others or connect with those that may be in a turn of despair or lethargy in a peaceful moment. I care deeply about people and genuinely want the best for them, and believe I would find great fulfillment in this role and could make a difference alongside genuine connection with those I'm caring for. I am most passionate about creative work, curiosity, people and health. More specifically my passions include game design, programming, digital and fine art, pottery, skateboarding, music, guitar, running, working out, psychology, philosophy, physics, biology, meditation, and connecting with others. I've struggled with chronic illness, and depression and anxiety due to said illness for most of my life. Thankfully I have managed to clear up my issues virtually completely, and now that I am in a very good and stable place in my life, I would really like to give back and help others that are going through what I went through. Nothing would make me happier :)
