About
I will be living in Katoomba from the first week of July, 2022, with my husband and little dog Bonnie . I was born and raised in the Lake Macquarie area before moving to Sydney where I was a NSW Policewoman for 13 years. For 7 of those years I was a welfare counsellor for the police and their families, so I have had a lot of experience supporting people suffering with many different personal issues and problems. I decided to resign to have our 2 beautiful children who are now in their 20’s. I then studied Fine Arts at art school (Uni & TAFE)and have sold my paintings for the last 25years. I currently exhibit at The Ferry Artist Gallery, Wisemans Ferry. I also sell my hand made bags and cushions with my art printed on them at The Hunter Valley Wool Store and at Fibrefrolic, Kurrajong . At the end of 2016 I sold my small business of 8 years, a little book shop in the Hunter Valley, so that we could move closer to my husband’s job and my children. I LOVE knitting and am involved in the NSW Knitters Guild, I am also a keen bush walker/hiker and I love travelling overseas .
