About
I love seeing people develop. I like to think I am an empathic human being and I love interacting with people. I have an adult disabled son whom I have cared for since he was born. I am a single parent and love imparting my skills on those I can help. I have been involved in caring for a 63 year old autistic gentleman whom I have enjoyed teaching independent living skills to. I feel like this work is not a job but instead a privilege and I am truly honoured in being able to mentor, teach, be a companion and help people in everything from picking up life skills to exploring their creativity.^& ^&If a person I am assisting with daily living skills wants to learn how to play guitar- I will volunteer my skills. The same goes for artistic or culinary endeavours.^&
