Hi, my name is Peter (or Poida in aussie slang), Tell us why you would make a great Hero. I'm friendly, approachable, and easy going. I love helping people and sharing all that i know. I think life is meant to be fun and we can all learn, share and appreciate the gifts we all have as individuals. My philosophy in life has always been to lead, motivate and inspire others to be the best they can be. My parents have always taught me from a young age to assist others and to always give back to the wider community with no personal benefit. Having faced challenges in my own life i can fully understand challenges other people can face. Having the extra support or a lending hand can make all the difference. I wish to help others in any way possible, no matter how small. Tell us how you will share one of your skills or hobbies to help someone in our community. I come from a computer and technology background and would love to share all my skills and knowledge with people. I have volunteered in the past helping people from all backgrounds and skill levels to make computer and technology usage easy to understand. Technology can transform lives and i would like to share it with people in the community. May it be as small as learning to use a keyboard & mouse on a computer/laptop, or to something complex as creating a personal website on the internet. I also love gardening and handy work around the house, and am happy to assist anyone within these areas. My other hobbies include gardening, automobile and motorcycle mechanics and im a lover of playing sports, in particular basketball, martial arts and cycling. What is a quote that inspires you?
