I am wanting to become a social carer as I am at a point in my life where I want to make a positive impact in peoples lives and help them live their best life. I have been an early childhood educator for the past 17 years educating an caring for young children and building strong trusting relationships with the children and their families. I believe becoming a carer would be a natural transition for me as I am a warm kind person who builds relationships easily. I communicate well and I am an open, honest and approachable person, with an empathetic nature. I enjoy meeting new people and can spark up a conversation easily. I am passionate about treating people with respect and kindness and building positive relationships. I was a professional dancer during my younger years so I have a love of dance, music and free movement. I also love to be in nature and taking strolls along the beautiful lake, even throwing a line in at times attempting to catch fish. I love a good comedy or rom com movie and the odd board game for fun and laughs. During my teens and twenties, my Dancing career took me around the world. I was lucky enough to experience many different cultures and see many parts of the world. This plays a big role in who I have become as it opened me up to a life rich in experience and culture.
