About

I love working with new people all the time! I am a Japanese woman with a background in nursing and public health nursing in Japan. Currently, I am studying for a Certificate III in Individual Support in Sydney. In Japan, I had the opportunity to work with the elderly population and people with disabilities, focusing on high and palliative care. I have 8 years of experience working at different hospitals in the Kansai region in japan (Osaka, Kyoto and Shiga) as a nurse and leading nurse. These experiences have enriched my life and deepened my understanding of the importance of compassionate care. My work in Japan has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to form meaningful connections with those I care for. I have provided comfort and support to individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments, offering not only medical care but also emotional support. These interactions have taught me the value of empathy, patience, and the profound impact of a kind gesture. With this in mind, I believe I can be a great social carer. My heart is open to understanding diverse realities, and I have a strong ability to empathize with many difficult situations. I am dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for, and I am committed to continuous learning and improvement in my caregiving skills. In addition to my professional work, I am involved in bush care volunteer activities at Lane Cove National Park on weekends. Many people are interested in engaging more with nature and conservation. To foster this interest, I would invite community members to share a day with me and some friends in the National Park, perhaps through a BBQ or picnic. I would be eager to share interesting facts about the park, including its unique flora and fauna, and discuss the importance of conservation efforts. Additionally, I hold a diploma that qualifies me to teach health-related issues to elementary, junior high school, and high school students. I am also experienced in performing CPR in high-stress situations, a skill that has proven invaluable in emergencies. I am currently working to obtain my Australian certification in first aid to validate my previous experience and ensure I can provide the highest standard of care in any situation.
